Why acrylic instead of glass

An acrylic jar weighs roughly half of the same size glass jar and it does not break when it drops. If your customers sell through online, ship direct, or sell travel and gift sets, that is the difference between a 2% breakage rate and almost none — and the freight bill drops with the weight. Acrylic also takes a brighter, more “premium cosmetic” look than PET when it is clear and frosted.

Best for

Face cream, day and night cream, eye cream, hand cream, hair mask, sample and travel sets, and promotional gift kits. Acrylic is not the right call for anything hot filled above about 60 °C, and we will tell you that before you order if you ask us.

Same size family as our glass jars

The 50 g acrylic jar shares the same capacity and the same lid size as our 50 g glass jar. Launch glass and acrylic side by side and the line still reads as one range — same cap, same height, same label panel. Customers often open with acrylic for the shipping-heavy markets and switch to glass for the shelf display.

What you can change

• Colour: clear, tinted (pink, blue, green), frosted, matte black, opaque white

• Lid: matching tone or contrast, matte or gloss, with or without inner seal

• Logo: hot stamping, 1–4 colour UV print, or a printed label

• Inner seal: induction seal liner, PE liner, or aluminium foil liner
